The Austrian Atherosclerosis Society was founded in 1989 and focuses on research in the fields of aetiology, pathogenesis, diagnostics and treatment of atherogenesis and diseases associated with it. The society aims to promote scientific research, collaboration and presentation of these results to the general public. This website contains information about the Society and its activities.
